Jasmine holds a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a master’s degree in Educational Psychology both obtained from the University of Toledo. She has high hopes of pursuing her Doctorate degree soon in Urban Education specializing in Learning and Development. Jasmine has been educating scholars for five years and is currently teaching middle school students in English Language Arts at a local charter school in Cleveland, Ohio.
Jasmine has a love for motivating scholars to reach their fullest potential to ensure that they shine in academic excellence. She believes in building positive relationships with her students and tailoring instruction to meet students where they are in order to take them where they need to be academically. In addition, Jasmine strongly believes that all scholars can achieve and excel above any expectations set before them and will go above and beyond to assure that they do so. A quote from Sidney Madwed is truly a motivational reminder for Jasmine, “If you want to be truly successful invest in yourself to get the knowledge you need to find your unique factor. When you find it and focus on it and persevere, your success will blossom.”
