Christine Vodicka, M.Ed. graduated Magna Cum Laude from Kent State University in 2000 with an Art Education degree; in 2002, she earned a Master’s degree in Education from Kent State University. Christine is a Certified Tutor, Reading Specialist, published author, doctoral student, artist and Motivation Coach.
Christine has 20 years of learning center experience, including 7 years at Cleveland State University as the Coordinator and Director of the Tutoring & Academic Success Center. She is the co-author of a textbook on academic success skills, Engaging the Classroom Experience: How to Excel in the Classroom and Beyond (KendallHunt, 2012), which has been adapted for use in first-year experience courses and seminars.
After surviving breast cancer in 2013, Christine learned that the cancer had spread and is currently fighting metastatic breast cancer. Christine has always dreamt of launching her own learning center. She is high energy and enthusiastic about sharing her passion for teaching and learning.
